Bristol City FC skipper Louis Carey and
former Bristol
City player Scott Murray took
time out of their holiday from football to support our Friends
association in a sponsored shoot out with the children. They both
used a variety of goal keeping techniques which kept pupils, staff
and parents entertained for the whole afternoon – you probably never
realised you don’t have to face the penalty taker to save the goal!!
They spent time getting to know the children before signing
autographs. Having grown up in
Dundry
Village, it was great to see
Louis back to offer the school his support. For the children, this
was a fantastic opportunity to meet their local heroes through a fun
sporting event. So far, over 100 has been raised. |
